What makes Ms. Green-Clean different than other cleaning companies and maids?
Please see about

Should I tip?
It's certainly not obligatory, but if you are moved by the transformation of your home and our hard work, it's greatly appreciated. Percentage should be based on service, and up to 20%.

Do you clean windows?
Yes, though only insides as part of our full deep, green home cleanings. We do also offer a stand-alone, green window cleaning service that includes outsides of windows. Please inquire for rates.

Do you bring cleaning supplies and equipment?
We bring ALL cleaning solutions, but to clean your home effectively and efficiently please have on hand this list of basic cleaning tools: vacuum cleaner, broom/dustpan, sponges & scrubbies, toilet bowl brush, step sool.

Should we be home while you're cleaning?
It's not necessary, but greatly recommended on the first cleaning (at least for 15-20 minutes) so you can show us around and acquaint us with your priorities. It's also ideal (though not obligatory) if you can be there at the end of your first cleaning to unofficially sign off and make sure your expectations have been met. After that it's up to you. We know you are very busy.

What is your cancellation policy?
Please find our cancellation and other policies here.

Are pets ok with you?
Sure. We're nuts about animals!

We have kids who have to nap. How do you work that?
We're easy to communicate with. Simply let us know when and where their nap times are. We will stay out of that area during that time and try not to vacuum until they're awake again.

What cleaning products do you use?
Ms. Green-Clean chooses only cleaning agents whose ingredients are based on naturally-derived plants and minerals and are safe for you, your family, pets, and the environment.

We are also currently developing our own private-label line of eco-friendly cleaning products that will be available to our clients and the public at large. Stay tuned for updates!

What areas do you service?
Currently, we serve all areas easily accessible by our MTA subway system. Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and parts of the Bronx (Riverdale and Marble Hill). In the future, we hope to grow Ms. Green-Clean into Westchester, Long Island and beyond. Stay tuned.

Are you bonded and insured?
Yes, Ms. Green-Clean LLC is bonded and insured.
